Is it normal for my guy friend to change in front of me?

Ok, so a couple weeks back I had a pool party at my house, and I had a few friends over. Well, my best guy friend was the first to arrive. I had my bikini under my regular clothes, and I assumed he had a swimsuit under his, so we got changed in the same room. Except when he took off his clothes I saw he didn't have a swim suit on, and for a few seconds, he was completely naked, and I saw his penis.

I don't have any feelings for him, and I don't think he has any for me, but I feel awkward around him now. Whenever I'm around him, I can't put the thought that I saw his dick, out of my mind, and because of that, I've stopped hanging around him recently. But I don't want this awkwardness to break up our friendship. Is this normal, and what should I do?

    some people are just that uninhibited. i've had a couple of roomies who would either run around nude, or semi-nude(the nude one was a guy, the semi nude one was a girl who would constantly walk around with no shirt). there was no sexual tension involved, but some people are just not bothered by it.

    I don't think I have one guy friend that would even consider getting dressed in front of me. Not normal.

    Maybe he just sees you as another guy. Besides guys go shirtless to the pool is it really that different. Men generally have a lot less shame then women do. Either he sees you as another guy or he just does not think its a big deal if you see him change.

    Dude we guys bothered we get communal showers together and walk backed in front of each other unlike girls who refuse to shower infront of each other why are girls like that who cares?

    Hahaha, that would be pretty awkward. Give it a couple of weeks to let the shock wear off. I'm sure you'll get over it. It's just a penis- you've seen one you've seen them all.
