Is it normal for my girlfriend to do this

Okay so i have been going out with my girlfriend for 2 1/2 yrs. When we first hung out we'd always have a blast together whether it be alone or out with friends. But as of recent when we are alone she is still cute and nice to me but when we are with friends she likes to be a complete dick to me. For example, the other day i cracked a joke to her when we were with our friends and she gave me a rude look and called me retarted. Then one of my friends says the same thing and she laughs. Not only that but it seems as though she's not just laughing, but adding more fake laughs to it. Also, sometimes ill ask her something and she just flat out ignores me and claims 'she didn't hear me' but someone else could ask a question quietly across the room and she'd here. I'm always as nice to her as i can be and i don't know if she acts like an asshole around people to seem like 'she wears the pants' or to be a billy badass but its realllly starting to get annoying. What do you think?

Dump the bimbo and get a gf that will treat you right all of the time. Or simply confrot her and see what she says.

As a female, I can say I acted like that with my ex, whom I was dating for 3 years, when I became sick of them. Though, I tried to make it work when we were alone by acting cute and lovey dovey to convince myself I shouldn't break up with them. But there were times where I just completely despised them, ignored them, made fun of them, and even argued for no reason. I didn't even know why I did it. I regret ever acting like that, I was young, but I've grown up. I think it's time for you to confront her and move on.

I have to agree. She is BEGGING you to break up.

Time for you to grow some, break up, and move on.

She might not like you anymore. 2.5 years changes a person.

How many of the "friends" would remain loyal to you if you broke up with her? Just wondering if that might have anything to do with it.

All of them would remain loyal. The core people i hang out with consist of my two best buds since we were kids, and their g/f's

Ok, well in that case I do not know. Maybe you should say something to her about it though?

I have to agree with them, she wants a breakup and i hate to say it but it sounds like you have to...UNLESS you can re-ingnite the spark. How long has it been since you two did something super romantic? How old are you? So i can kmow how to tailor my answers
