Is it normal for my girlfriend to be acting this way & what can i do?

Ok so my girl is one of the most happy people ever. Even when something bad happens she laughs it off and never complains. She always laughing and joking. Shes very light hearted but, she's been through a lot. So today we were on a dinner date. She wasn't saying much so I kept saying "you need to talk" "wow this is fun" and stuff like "we should leave if your gonna be like this". She just sat there and said whatever. Then after a few minutes she just started crying. I asked her whats wrong and she just said to leave her alone and take her home. I really doubt its what I said. Usually shes nonchalant about her problems and even laughs when she tells me so i don't know if she's just been holding it all in or something really serious broke her. She won't answer my calls or text back.

    Maybe she doesn't wanna complain. Sit her down and ask her what's wrong. Comfort her.

    If this was not normal behavior, she is interested in someone else.

    She feels guilty about it, and doesn't know how to tell you.

    Or it could be hormones!

    I have a feeling she wants to leave you. Or did you cheat on her? Hmm we both dont exactly know whats wrong but its something about you that she hasnt told you yet

    wow. If any of my friends did that to thier girlfriend i would slap them. I say you should try and get her to talk. Not make sarcastic remarks about her lack of speach.

    Dude, you need to reassure her that you love her and care about her and that you seriously want to know how to help her. Apologize for being an "ass", and see if you can get through to her. If you can't, go to someone else that you know she is close to and ask them for help. It sounds like it is serious, and maybe she is struggling with how to communicate. Be sweet and loving...

    I don't think it was anything you said at all.
    Something's on her mind that's troubling her. You can try to ask, but I think it's best if you wait to see if she comes around.

    she has been bottling up her emotions of all of the things she has been through and in my opinion she has just burst and let them all out so I'm guessing she is going through an extremely hard stage where she may need some time to herself
