Is it normal for my girlfriend to be a huge hypocrite?

So my girlfriend is the biggest hypocrite I have ever met in my life. She gets reallly mad at me for doing things, when she does the same exact thing, if not ten times worse (and it's not even bad things)
For example: She is constantly on her phone texting while I am with her (the ten times worse part is that she's texting her exes and guys that have tried stuff with her while we were together, but she "said no"). Yet the very few times I get a text, when I take out my phone and respond to it, she yells at me, because I am with her right now, and I shouldn't be texting anyone that isn't there. Is this normal behavior, or do I need to get out while I still can?

    This is very controlling behavior, and a form of abuse. It is only going to get worse from here on out. You are going to either have to live with it and most likely have it escalate (not recommended), or leave her before it gets violent. I wish you the best! GB.

      I did leave her bitch ass, and I've promised myself I won't put up with that kind of shit anymore, no matter what the girl. I just wanted to make sure that it's not all girls who are like that, or if this is just s'more bullshit that men have to put up with their inferior counter part.

        Well done! Kick her sorry ass! I hate it when women do that. I once dated a girl like that, I dumped her after 2 months. There is no fucking way she is gonna text other guys, while she is with me. And there is no fucking way she is going to yell at me for the crap she does. She even got angry, cause I spend 3 hours a week washing/ polishing my car. And she goes and spends the night out with her girlfriends and they stare at guys in some shitty disco!

    I think you should talk to her about it. If she realises or already knows she behaves like this, then ask her to be honest about why she behaves like this. I think it would be the mature thing to do to bring it up, rather than end it because of all this and not explain.
