Is it normal for my fwb to introduce me as his girl?

So I've been with my guy for about 8 months now. We've been hooking up since November 2010 and we seem to be getting closer to each other. When things happen in his family, he comes to me for his problems and I make him feel better. His family loves me and loves to have me around. He calls me everyday and visits me everyday when he's not working. If we're not busy, he'll take me out on a date or to a baseball game, to lunch, etc. He buys me milkshakes and whatever else I want almost every night when he's working. He works night shift and I live near by so he'll take me out. We'll talk in the car for hours, cuddle and kiss. Sometimes we have sex but we don't have to. He holds me tight and kisses me passionately. He's introduced me to many of his co-workers at his job so I feel special. And on the phone yesterday when he was talking to his friends, he told them that he was with "his girl". I've never been referred to as his girl. I've always been called his friend or special lady friend or by my name. But he's calling me his girl and I feel kinda special. But he also talks about other girls and getting their numbers and it just leaves an awkward situation. Like he talks about other girls and about talking to them on xbox, flirting with them and then he'll laugh at my expression when I'm jealous and then he kisses me hard. And he gets jealous when I'm with guy friends and he'll pout. But it's weird b/c I said we're like dating and he's like we aren't. Is this normal? and how do I make it so it's less complicated and confusing?
