Is it normal for my friends to not be so friendly?

Ok. So my group of friends i have been hanging out with since 6th grade, are starting to annoy me. I noticed that wherever they go, drama seems to follow them. I don't want to be a part of that drama. I also noticed that they don't seem to like me very much. I mean, i am a very quirky girl, and i am also extremely short for my age. I have been trying to become somewhat more like-able, but it is hard for me. The thing is, i love most of the people in that group (group a) but some i just cant stand to be around.
There is another group of people i hang out with(lets say group b). It is a smaller group and i relate better to them. but everyone else in the group has been friends for a long time and i just dont feel like i should interfere with their relationship. I dont know who i should hang out with especially because i like both the groups and i know if i leave one of them there will be a little bit of drama but i cant just keep going like this hanging out with both groups and not being able to be close to either one.

Why do you need to have a group?! I hate that kind of relationships between friends, that's for kids.
"Hey, I saw you hanging out with that girl from the other group, WTF? not cool, you can't be our friend anymore".
At least that's how I picture it...
Anyway just be friends with whoever you want, maybe none of those are good friends. Just have as many friendship doors open as possible and you'll never be lonely.

Group B? It's not messing up their relationship, it's like adding someone to the relationship. As long as they accept you into the relationship, then it's okay!

Yeah it is! I use to have a group of friends that spent all day telling me how horrible I was. It is normal to have horrible friends. Most people are just horrible.
