Is it normal for my friends to hate me and leave me alone?

So i hang out with these friends at school. We've been hanging out for ages, but just today, one of them tell me that they find me annoying and obsessive. Since she's really close with my other friends, i cant help but think they feel the same way. i dont really understand what i've done. But not only that, we all hated this girl but now they're hanging out with her too. Now i don't know what to do. Is it normal? What do i do?

Ask them what the deal is if you can. You may learn something helpful for the future. Also, if I may commiserate with you, I have had two people I thought were friends in the last year stop talking to me. I learned through other friends that they hated me for something I did months earlier, but just held a grudge and never said anything. When I heard from other friends what the reason was, I couldn't believe they didn't just tell me how they felt and give me a chance to make amends. Some people would rather end a relationship than appear vulnerable and talk it out, or at least explain what happened so the other person can grow. I would have rather known what happened and had a chance to grow from the experience; it would have been less painful than not knowing what happened. Anyway, not sure if this helps. I say seek the answer and if you can't get it, move on and seek new friends.

Some "friends". I think you should beat the shit out of this girl that they are now hanging out with. It's just what the doctor ordered.

  • Do talk with the other girls, & I agree with the above ^^^. But it does sound like these aren't really friends so much. Seems they are just a group or clique, with little in the way of loyalty, communication, empathy, support and so on that you get in friendships.

I'm going to assume this is high school but feel free to correct me. If talking it out with them is out of the question (i.e. How are you obsessive? How can you control yourself?), find some new friends.
