Is it normal for my friend to be obsessed with me?

I've made a post about a friend who doesn't care about me, well i have a friend that's practically the opposite. She hangs out with me and agrees to do anything i want to do. I kinda like it but I feel like I'm forcing her to do it. When we first met in high school she asked a simple question, " Hi, how are you? " my answer turned that simple question into a start of a friendship. My answer: " My life is okay, except for the fact that school is starting ". That conversation ended as the bell rang. By the next day she was all over me. I liked that, but it grew to all over me to "I AM GOING TO HANG OUT WITH YOU AND ONLY YOU EVERY SINGLE DAY". That was awesome but it was also uncomfortable. We're still friends now in my life. Should I be worried or happy and excited?

    I wish I had a friend like that!! I think its fine as long as she doesn't get jealous of ur other friends that would be the hang up

      Yeah it is fun to have a friend who will stick by your side no matter what :)
      But if feels so wrong to me for her to be agreeing with me ALL THE TIME because I…feel like I'm forcing her to do it…. :/

    Introduce her to your other friends if you have any. Maybe she is just fixated on you because you're the only one that has accepted her socially.

    Thanks for the advice! I'm sure it will at least help her a little bit. But I've heard rumours that if she meets another person she likes, she'll leave her other friend. Help?

      Then you should probably go ahead and try to find yourself a friend who doesnt attach themselves to only one person. Im sure you cafind other friends, and that probably start getting a little weird for me. Get her a dog?
