Is it normal for my feet to itch after a shower????

After I take a shower( and sometimes during ) my feel will itch extremely bad. Like crazy, they turn a bright tomato red and burn but itch at the same time. I know for a fact it's not athletes foot but it itches. and it is usually right in-between my toes and on my toes

I experience the same thing on my thighs and lower leg area. Soon as I dry up after taking a shower my thighs, arms and lower leg start itching like crazy. It's very frustrating and makes me dread taking showers. My ex gave me an 'ion crystal' showerhead and it stopped. I believe there's something in the water that's responsible for the itch. Whatever it is, the shower head definitely filtered it out.

Stop taking showers in boiling hot water.

The water is too hot! take a cooler shower and you wont have itchy feet. BOZO.

I get the same, always have done. I've presumed that it was the fault of the hot water. I run cold water over my feet in the sink and it is fine. Could be a different thing, but it sounds a lot like what I have.

not all itches are athlete's foot.

try soaking your foot in warm water with epsom salt. then get a pumice stone and rub your feet.

and while you're at it... when they're dry spray them with athlete's foot spray. it could still be a case of AF ... and the spray is good for preventing AF too.

so even if you don't have it the spray won't hurt
