My ears are sensitive too. I cannot wear headphones at all, but I can tolerate earbuds for a short amount of time. You seem normal to me.
My ears always hurt afterwards, but its like my outer ear, not inner. Are your ears small? I find my especially small ears hurt when i put in ear buds. When I use the kind that goes over it's okay for an hour, then it will hurt too.
I still use bulky noise-cancelling headphones because the earphones hurt too much. Not only do they hurt my eardrums and trigger migraines, but they actually hurt my ear canal as well (and lobes, if they are clip-on). I just can't do earbuds/earphones.
So, to me, yes it's very normal. Everyone is different. Some are just more sensitive than others. Don't feel bad, you probably have a great sense of hearing, which is a good trade-off IMO.
Not only could it be the shape of the earphones causing The problem, but it could also be the volume you play your music at. Turn down the volume and see if that's the problem.
I only find headphones painful if they're too big for my ears. Inner ear headphones I don't have problems with, but if you find these painful too I'm not sure what it could be. Do you listen to your music too loud?
well the pain can go away in like 15~25 mins and then i can put them in again
People ears are sensitive. They make special earphones for people like you :-(
When you use earphones for an hour you get like insanely much more bacterias in your ears then when not wearing them, so that could be the reason..
