Is it normal for my dreams to be so specific?

I dream every night.
I dream in color.
I dream of people I know and people I used to know.
I've dreamed of entering passwords that I had forgotten consciously, or picking up my phone from exactly where it is in reality, entering my pass code, and answering a text message or even having a whole conversation. In the morning there is no record of this.
I dream of events that could happen in reality and I can think my way through it. I find myself in a strange situation(while dreaming) and think: wow, I want to remember this. Or, even though this friend isn't in my dream, I wonder what she is up to. I think about things and can make decisions based on this thought process.
Is any of this normal?

lol i just read this out loud and it sounds a bit like a poem XD lol but yeah these dreams are called *reality dreams* it is actualy very common and it usualy only happens when a person has a perfect day but for dreams like that to happen every night is a very special 'gift' if you can control these dreams and move around in them at your own will then it could make your life a little better (you may be psychic)

Some of my dreams are very blurry and others extremely detailed. Some of them even have their own internal logic and coherence. I had a dream where I kept hearing a melody and then remembered a phone conversation (in the dream) where the song was playing in the background of the person talking to me. When I woke up, I was surprised to find this level of consistency in a dream. In story-telling it's a device called retroactive continuity. Other dreams are completely bizarre and hazy.
