Is it normal for my dad to think i'm fat?

I dont think I need to lose weight. I'm 5'9 and 148 lbs, I look good in tight clothing, I get a lot of sexual attention and compliments on my appearance. Yet for some reason he keeps nagging me and reminding me that I need to go exercise or not eat that cookie. For example, the other day I said "hey dad guess what I've been getting A's on all my tests this week!" he just said yea but you haven't worked out all week. I just feel that il never meet his expectations idk what his problem is.

For that weight and height you have a BMI of 21.9. The healthy BMI range is 20.0 to 24.9. You are at the lower end of that, meaning that you are a very healthy weight. If you got below 135 lbs, then you would be getting underweight, and over 170 would be starting to get overweight.

You are perfect the way you are. Don't change.

Just a dad thing, him wanting you to be all you can be! Don't sweat it, unless you believe that wisdom is really worth listening too! Good luck with your choices!

Maybe he doesn't like his little girl to be like a woman - all sexy and everything. Maybe he sees how men are looking at you.

Your dad's a knobhead. Don't listen to him. You don't sound fat at all. I guess he would rather have you stick thin and unwell.

I have a theory. Are you the first born? I'm a first born and it seems like we are subject to impossible standards from our parents. We are their 'golden-child' and they believe we are capable of perfection, so, anything short of perfection is a disappointment in their eyes.

Well he's right....you should exercise AT THE VERY LEAST once a week. Probably like 2/3 times a week is best.
