Is it normal for my dad to rub his thumb over the back of my hand?

While holding my hand, my dad will frequently rub his thumb in circles over the back of my hand. I have tactile issues and hate this, so I pull my hand away and he gets upset. Is he trying to come on to me by doing this or just being weirdly touchy-feely? (His whole family has an annoying habit of constantly touching people without asking...)

    That is so creepy. He disgusts me. I can't stand touchy-feely people. How dare they do so without my consent!

    You don't say how old you are or whether you're a boy or a girl so hard to know if it's strange he's holding hands with you, let alone touching your hand in a way you don't like.

    Regardless of any of that, if you've been clear that you don't like it, he shouldn't still be doing it.

    If his family is known to do this he probably grew up this way and sees it as normal behavior! If you really don't like it just tell him.
