Okay-this is really uncomfortable for me to type, but it is really bothering me & im not sure what to think of it. I dont know if I should be concerned or not. Well me & my boyfriend are both virgins, I have a little more experience than my boyfriend as he never engaged in sexual-like acts with his previous girlfriends. The other day I was giving him a hand job for the second time, when all of a sudden he exclaimed & told me to stop because I was hurting him. Later on when I went down to give him head I noticed there was blood coming out of his penis, I told him & he went to go check & came back & told me that his foreskin had a small tear in it from me pulling down too hard. I was so confused at this. My previous boyfriend had asked for this especially & he never 'ripped' or anything. My current boyfriend then proceeded to tell me that I couldnt pull as far because he was uncircumcised. I hardly know what that means. My ex had never disscussed it with me even though we went out for a while. I knew the basics of circumcision but I never really thought of it as much of a difference & didnt know that you could rip because of it. My boyfriend seems to think this is normal-he says next time just dont pull his foreskin down as far & says it will heal. I am freaking out though. I feel so humiliated & I really dont wanna hurt him again. Im not sure if this is normal or not. I tried to research it & sounds like its not a daily occurance. I really feel like that should not be happening & that its out of the norm. But he is so convinced its fine. I have cried over this because I am just so mortified that I did this to him. Is it a normal thing for uncircumcised people to get small tears & bleed if stretched too far or is there need for worry? Please please please-is this normal & is everything fine or should we be concerned?

    yeah no it's normal. you can tear the skin quite easily, giving hand to circumcised vs uncircumcised people are very different. There was no way for you to know though, based on your previous experience.

    Try using a lubricant and going OVER the skin rather than pulling it back and forth.

    1. You didn't use lubricant did you? Next time use it.
    2. Tell your boyfriend to go to a doctor and tearing is never a good thing. It could become infected, etc.

    Nothing to get upset about, I am sure the slight pain was masked by the pleasure! It will heal fast and he will desire more from you. Oral can be better in this case, gentle is good, do some research and be the greatest girlfriend yet! Good luck with your choices!

    It's unusual, but yeah - it's likely because of the circumcised vs. uncircumcised thing. With uncircumcised penises, the foreskin can roll down and up without much hassle. With a circumcised penis, there is little to no foreskin, which means pulling down on the skin could cause pain or even tearing.
