Is it normal for my boyfriend to hump me in his sleep?

When I sleep over or nap at my boyfriends we always spoon, him being the big spoon. He's always been a weird sleeper, like sleepwalking or talking in his sleep. He drools everywhere in my hair but I deal haha.
Well he has sex dreams, hopefully about me, and literally humps or grinds on me in his sleep. And having a huge rod poking you in the butt while you're trying to sleep kinda sucks so I end up waking up to this moaning mess of a man. Now I'm at the point where I just kinda lift my leg a little and let him go at it with my thighs, but honestly he makes a mess so I started lifting the boxer flap thingy and catching it in a tissue so he isn't uncomfortable or sticky. And he has zero memory of this in the morning or gets really embarrassed?
Do other guys do this? I thought "wet dreams" stopped at the teen years? He's 22 btw.
He doesn't like to talk about it but I find it pretty funny haha

I had a tough time with wet dreams as a teenager. Most of mt wet dreams happened and then I would wake up later without remembering any sex dream.

My mom would get so angry seeing the wet spots/stains on the bedsheets when doing laundry. She would yell at me saying stuff like I was sick and needed to see a doctor.
I begged her not to, and finally told her that I was not going. She had no clue about raising a boy.

I have been told that I do the same as your bf...I have no idea that it's happening because I am asleep.
So if I start rubbing against her butt, she just moves away a bit. King size bed helps!

I’m 33 and there are sometimes I’ll wake up and realize that I just had a sex dream and that I was humping my bed in my sleep. I don’t do it often, but it is rather embarrassing. I’ve done research and if you keep anything from touching the penis, it may lower the frequency of episodes. Sleeping on the stomach will cause an increase in bed humping or sleeping up against a partner. So I would say once you’re ready to sleep, after cuddling, separate to prevent the humping (and the drooling 😪). Good luck!
If you’d like more information about the condition, it’s called Sexsomnia.

Not exactly normal, but if it doesn't bother you too much, whatever.

Just means he has a high sex drive. I wouldn't say it's abnormal, per say, but if it's bothering you then you should try to solve it. Maybe try having sex with him before you guys go to sleep? He won't be as worked up later on. If you're not in the mood, encourage him to just masturbate it off.
