Is it normal for my boyfriend to always think about break up?

We've been together a long while, he loves me, I love him and everything is great. But he got a negative personality and he says that he always have a voice in the back of his head that this isn't going to last forever because nothing does. It's not that he THINKS about it all the time, the thought is just always there. Is that normal?
