Is it normal for my bf mom to give him lower back massages

I give him massages regularly but I find that his mom says she won't give him a massage because now that's my job. But he said yesterday that she massaged his lower back (near butt) the other morning. I just find it strange, and the other night she was giving him a back massage sitting on him while I was cleaning in the kitchen... I don't know if I'm being jealous or what. I think they can be too close at times... Makes me uncomfortable. I understand that his father was never in his life and that made there relationship closer but I think it's too close..

    You obviously have some sick suspicions regarding a mother/son relationship. Just because they are of opposite gender does not make it weird. She raised him every since he was a fetus. I think she the right to still be intimate with him as a mother to a son and give him back massages without having someone question her motive!

      Yeah.. but things like this can happen.. Emotional Development and Dependency.. zzzz Shit happens. Plus she's not getting the attention she wants from him with that. Rubbing his back seems special to her.

    Back scratches? Sure. I love when my dad gives me a rough back scratch, then shortly after my mum gives me a gentler scratch. It was part of my childhood. Maybe these massages on the lower back are a childhood tradition of his, but I don't know...sitting on him? And in front of you? That's kind of awkward...

    If he has something wrong with his back and the massages help him out then I think that is perfectly fine. I his back is in perfect shape, I find it a little odd. Some mothers just don't want to cut the umbilical cord lol!

    It's only not normal if either of them are having sexual thoughts or feelings during all that. I'd be more worried about incest than your jealousy if I were you but I don't think you have anything to worry about. It is a little weird that she sat on his lap and gave him back massages but if they're really close then I guess sometimes things like that can happen if you have such a good son-mother bond. Maybe they're exceptionally close and that's their way of expressing it.

    His mother is giving him a massage? That is not weird. His mother obviously cares about him and is trying to help. You should be relieved it is not some other girl doing this.

    What? ew. just ew. I mean, I find it normal that his mother gives him a back massage but not that she sits on him while doing it and not to mention glare at you while she does it. His mother is sick ew. I feel ya gurl :/

    It doesn't upset me but more unsure if I should be creeped out. It only upsets me when she looks at me then does it like she is trying to make me jealous
