Is it normal for my bd to get out of jail and marry me

My BD has been in jail for three years, and will soon be release. Since he has been in there I've been faithfully all the way, however his friends always find a way to lie to him. He says he wants to be wit me at the same time he says he believes his friends... So I'm confuse about what's going to happen..

you may have been faithful to him but its not guaranteed that he has been faithful to you... just kidding.

Don't marry him please! He doesn't trust you, he has dishonest friends with bad influences, he is a criminal, and will probably never be able to get a good job to support you and your child with his criminal record! Move on!

Hahaha! HSVWHO, you aren't alone. I didn't know either. Ahaha!

My advice: Don't marry him. I agree with everything that tdavis said.

When he gets out you should take the relationship slow, like you were dating again for the first time so he can get to know you and decide what to do for himself since he's seeing it first hand for the first time in 3 years. Dont have him move in with you right away and don't jump into the middle of a serious relationship with someone who at this point after 3 years of being away from one another you barely know. Also in this time you should be making sure his criminal past is not becoming his criminal present and future before making a decision to stay with him and bringing him back into your childs life as a full time figure out of no where, that should be done gradually. You cant go around telling the kid daddys going to be there from now on only to have him ripped away from him again if problems between you and him or him and the law should arise. It's up to you to be a good mother and protect your child above all else. The emotional abandonment you feel is nothing compared to what your child would have to go through having his father disappear on him yet again. Boyfriends come and go but a kid only gets one father.
