Is it normal for my asian relatives to always comment on my height?

Every time I see my asian relatives they always comment on my height, and I think its kind of rude. I'm not even that tall, i'm 5'10, female. Anyways, they always say things like "ah, you so tall.", and tell me i'm like a giant. I notice this with other asians who aren't my relatives too, they all act so amazed by my height. Its like the first thing they say when they see me, "ah, you so tall". Is that normal?

    I think it's rude. I'm a short girl myself (5'2") and I really hate it when people constantly need to comment on my height. Like:

    Me: Hi, I'm [real name].
    Other: Hi, I'm Ben. Wow, you're short, I like short girls.

    Can't these people think of anything else to say..?! It always makes me think of how they would have acted if I weren't short...

    5'10" is pretty tall for a girl ESPECIALLY an asian/part asian girl. Better get used to it, it probably amazes them.

      I'm only part asian, my dads half japanese. They actually seem to be making fun of me though, then be just amazed, probably jealous
