Is it normal for money to completely change a person??

Ok, so heres basically my story about growing up and living in my neighborhood. I just want to know: Is it normal for a person's "MONEY" to completely change the way that person "thinks" or 'acts" toward people??

It seems like friends/family members that I used to hang out with or I thought used to be cool now seem like they are "Too Good" to spend time with me now because I guess they feel like they are more superior than me because they are "richer" than I am. So I just want to know....what do you guys think? Does money really change people that much?? Or am I just being paranoid??

  • If you want to find out who someone really is, give them power.

No it's not normal, it's sick. But if you are asking if this happens often, yeah it happens to almost everyone. Call it a diease of material-obsessed society.
