Is it normal for men to wear knee high boots?

In other words, Why is it gay if a dude wears or wants to wear knee high boots? Compared to my other question which referred to lady boots. This is in general. Police Officers wear them, Punk may wear them, and some male Rockstars may or may not wear them. Why is it gay for men? What if they were warm? Why do females get the best of fashion? While men get the corny version of it? It's boring. I'm not saying I want to wear lady boots at all. I could be shoveling in 12-16 inches of snow and a dude walk by or female and they laugh/say if not both and say those are for girl! Well, they're not! These were customed for a mans foot, and they're being worn by a man. They're not narrow. They're not full of gold emblems and ornaments. They're plain Jane and made for a man. So, whats the deal?

    I am definately, definately not gay. I am single. I ride a harley davidson motorbike and i live in England. Am 5ft 6" tall and slim built. I do wear over the knee leather boots with a 3.25" block heel under my jeans and i do go out in them. I just love boots, both on a woman and wearing them myself. I would love to wear the boots outside of my skinny jeans that i have bought myself, but in UK you are staight away stereotyped into being wierd. My mum was Spanish, so i am half Spanish. In Spain nobody would bother, because they are very open in the way they are. It would be very hard in the UK to get a woman to understand and accept the way i am. I do have other boots, but i only wear them in my house. I am emigrating to Spain in September. At least i will be accepted there. It would be nice to hear from women in the UK if you would accept a person like me, just being themself. Thank You.

    Knee high boots are rather helpful if one is wading in almost knee high water. Why would someone think that was gay? Straight people can't wade in almost knee deep water in knee high boots? Of course they can.

    it's because theres a long history of perverts in cowboy hats, high boots and nothing else skipping around the rest areas and beaches and lakes.
