Is it normal for men to like chick flicks/love stories?

I find this werid to admit but, I love LOVE STORIES! The best part is that I'm a guy and are guys supposed to like these sorts of things? My friend Julia enjoys when I watch movies with her because we like the same things. To mention a few like "If I Stay, or The Fault in Our Stars". They seem to leave me in a timeless wonder of what it would be like to live a life with your "soul mate" if such power exist.

So to keep this short, is it werid for guys to like love story's?

    I don't think it's weird.
I'm a guy (an Aussie "bloke" to be exact) & I've watched and enjoyed quite a few romance movies.
Generally romantic comedy so I can get away with saying I'm in it for the laughs...

But seriously, you shouldn't be afraid of showing your feelings whether that's crying during a sad movie or watching a "chick-flick" & openly enjoying it, admitting that the idea of true love excites you.

The idea of true love SHOULD fucking excite you!
I'm part romantic, part realist so I never expected to be saying this but right now I really believe I have found my "soulmate"
(or whatever you want to call it)
The funny thing is she'll probably call me a fucking pussy for even talking about watching romance movies!
That's part of the reason I love her...

Unfortunately we've got a hard road ahead of us but I can't imagine anyone better suited to me & it seems she feels the same.
& because of the circumstances our story would probably make a hell of a movie.

    Anyway, I digress...

        I knew it...

        Top loader it is!
No, I told you, you'll be the one doing all the laundry so you do have a say in that.
Not the final say, but a say.

          Hehehe

          Don't rile the feminists!!!

There actually is this great sub genre of zombie romance films, Warm Bodies being the latest popular incarnation. I'll still hold you're hand whilst you sob about zombie love stories, pussy-pants.

Not only is this normal, but it has the potential to make you kind of a chick magnet.

I don't see anything wrong with it. You have a lot of females that enjoy action movies.
