Is it normal for medication to make you more mature ?

Is it normal that the medication i am taking for my mental /psychological illness is making me more mature ?(which i hate ) it's also making me think more rationally, have low energy and low interests.I know a couple of people that have bipolar among other disorders but because they don't take medication they have lots of feelings , ambitions , even their crazyness is charming , or they take the kind of medication that makes them more alert instead of medications that makes a person more calm.

Being mature is not equal to feeling like a wet towel, and dragging yourself around the whole day. Your medication isn't doing its job.

And, I don't know. The bipolars I've met were extremely fucking annoying.

Don't trust the voices in your head, they are not your friends.

Their brains are like a carbonated beverage containing 500mg's of Caffine. Every bubble is blown out without consideration. It's almost like ADHD. The blurb everything that comes to mind.
It's good to be mature! Thumbs Up!

It's not making you mature but emotionally dulling you. The last few times I was one medication, it caused me more problems than I already had and it also emotionally dulled me in a sense.
