Why would you want to raise a child by yourself? Can you even afford raising a child if you can't afford donor sperm?

Put this future baby's needs first, not yours. I agree, you are selfish. And unprepared.

Go to the pound and adopt a cat.

  • And then 3 years later come ask me for a child support cheque? No thank you.

Come to the ghetto where getting girls pregnant and bailing out is a sporting event.

You are looking on here to find a guy to impregnate you?

    That is FUCKED UP.

This is the most messed up thread I have ever read. I feel awful for the kid you bring into this world with that head like that on your shoulders.

    What bloody age are you?

Go and stay with a single mom for a few weeks and that will knock this stupid idea out of your head. I had one at the age of 32 and had a husband - and we could barely cope!! He took 18 weeks extra unpaid leave from work. This is not a doll, this is 24/7 dependency!!

Please go away, and get a life, I can't stand this level of fukin stupidity!!!

I luv u joybird. Hope life has since gotten better. I hear that young girls these days have similiar ideas about getting pregnant due to media glamorizing teen pregnancy. My mother was a single mother of two and working part time. Being a mom is hell.

This whole this saddens me...I don't have a dad wish he had the decency to stick around :( and you wanna bring a baby in not knowing their dad at all you baby finds out they'll hate you forever...

You are out of your mind if you think having a good job is enough to have a baby. I was making 80,000 a year at 19 years old when I got pregnant. I wound up a single mother because my sons dad didn't want the responsibility of a baby. I had to take off of work constantly because he was sick, or my sitter couldn't watch him. I was losing pay all the time. I wound up quitting my job because having a newborn and trying to work 40+ hours a week was draining me. Let me tell you... when all you want to do is take a shower and you can't because your child won't take a nap and won't stop crying ... you'll be wishing your child's dad is still around.

Where are you? I'll knock you up several times if you want. I think this is very normal btw and have always wanted to take part in a NSA relation of this sort.

I think you are extremely selfish for wanting this. How would you like growing up not knowing who your father is and having your mother refuse you to any contact with him because she doesn't want you too. I have a father out there and I wish with everything that I could have a relationship with him. Rethink your wishes, and who they will affect later on in life.

    I would do this for you but only if you wouldn't be asking for money for child support and have the blood traced to me. I'd still atleast want to be friends with you (: but I'd totally do this for you (;

Adoption seems like a good suggestion, who ever pitched in with that. I'd back-up that one, out of any.

You sound very selfish to want that, but maybe you could look into adoption or something. I do not know.

i dont wana adopt i want my own child with my blood, and that dont make me selfish shit! i mean if the guy dont want anything to do with a kid anyway thennn..there is no problem righht?

There is an issue with that logic. You are far better off finding a man that will be a father vs having a kid and then trying to find a daddy later. Men do not want a woman with another man's kid. You better count on being alone or mistreated. Granted my gf has a daughter and I had an ex with two lil boys. Oh my, the stories I heard...

        Comment Hidden ( show )
      • Shackleford96

Also, you did not specify that adoption was not an option for you.

        Comment Hidden ( show )
      • Shackleford96

You are wrong. A person needs a dad in their life. The reason I said you sounded selfish was because you said you did not want the dad in your life, which probably means that the dad would not be in the baby's life either, not because you said you wanted a baby. Depriving a baby of a proper father figure just because you do not want a man to be a part of your life is selfish.

Matbe u think u are not selfish, and no one has the right to judge u,but think a minute about the kid who will come to this world.I know this is 21 century, women are more independant nowdays but u only can give him material things and your own love.U say not knowing your dad did nothing to u,I have some friends who say the same but when they see how my dad calls me,asks how i feel,do i need anything?they envy, get sad.Always know maybe u can afford to give him material things.U can be the best mom,but never dad. Please dont think only about u.I am sure I wouldnt have been the person I am now if my dad wasnt next to me.Dads place is very important in everyones life

Good luck - and I mean that :)

I'm in the opposite situation. Male, married with a wife who doesn't want kids. So, while I'd love a kid, I'll never have one, and that leaves a hollow in my chest.

It's good to hear of someone winning her way, against people's opinions. I hope it works out really well for you.
