Is it normal for me to wake up and my hands and or feet are numb?
Some times when I wake up in the morning I can't feel one of my fingers, or my toes and sometimes my hands & feet. When this started happening it was usually my pinkie finger, but as time went on it kept getting worse. Eventually my whole hand would be numb, or my whole foot.
I can't feel a thing at all on the numb area, and once the numbness begins to go away it feels all tingley. It really is hard to describe what I feel once the numbness is fading away. It feels kind of like an unpleasant throbbing, or like its falling?
It one time got to the point where I woke up and my WHOLE ENTIRE ARM had NO feeling. It was as if I had a rubber arm hanging off my shoulder, just dangling there. I couldn't even move my arm, and when I touched it with my other hand it felt like I was touching another person's arm. The tingley throbbing feeling afterward this time was awful! The tingling doesn't hurt but it just feels so unpleasant for some reason and I can't handle it and I want it to stop. It feels sorta like having your foot fall asleep but ten times worse and it feels like your arm is falling & you can feel it throbbing.
I have asked someone about this and they said I was sleeping in a certain position to cut my circulation off. But I usually sleep with my hands at my side or rested on top of my tummy, that can't be the reason. :\
I do have Raynaud's Disease, but it is not bad at all, and I'm only affected my it in the winter an its only in my toes. But maybe that could have something to do with this?
Well, if you have any idea what could be happening could you please leave a comment. (: And I would like to know if this is a normal thing, and if it happens to other people too.
Thanks~ ((:
