I am an ok singer. I've been writing and singing my own songs since I was 13. I'm currently 19, I'm the lead singer of a local rock band, and I've won the city talent show 3 years in a row. So is it normal that I believe I could win American Idol?
That show tottaly SUCKS!!! I never watch it.It has tottally DESTROYED the past generation and the rest to come.I don't GIVE A FUCK FUCK WHO WINS!!!
Do you realize how many people's background stories are this and they SUCK. I'm watching the auditions right now.
Are we supposed to say yes/no based on your opinion on your level of musical talent? ..... thats fucken impossible

I've watched some of the train-wreck auditions on youtube. It's amazing how many people seem to think they're the best thing out there... only for it to be PAINFULLY obvious they can't sing.
Well... yes and no - depending on how arrogant they were.
if it's someone who's well mannered and truly heart broken then sure. Hell even Simon breaks apart from the "mean man" act to be kind to them.
But if they were arrogant and stuck up then... no not really.
technically everyone who shows up thinks they can win it.
just remember - the ones who actually do well were the ones who had good manners when they made it to the taped auditions.
If you have good manners - they may still criticize you but they may not be as vicious about it.
Yeah I'm sure a lot of people have the same thoughts when they sign up for the auditions, and then fail it.
Nothing wrong with self confidence but it might be a bad idea to go there in "knowing" you will win.
