My parents hate the fact that i want to be "Emo." No I am not a poser and i know emo is a label. Anyways, they gave me enormous speeches about it being "evil!" They stalked my instagram and saw pics of me in warpaint! Is it normal for me to still want to be emo even though they disapprove?
if your parents are not okay with it you can try to find someone who they can understand better and pray that they'll listen
Stop with these labels. If you like the hair or fashion, get it, but don't go around saying you're emo like some of those 12 year olds out there.
Emo? How is emo? From what I know emo is emotional people who enjoy cutting and crying to sad music and are sometimes gay. I think emo would mean suffering from depression not really evil.
I went through this in middle school. My parents didn't like it either but I still did.
Yes, and now they have this thing called Scene! Scene is like emo but they are super happy. Scene=Happy emo
