ok so i like my cousin very much i may even love him and i am indian so here its ok to marry your aunt's son who he is and everyone's fine with it too but the only problem is that i am thinking i may be embarrassed when i introduce him to my friends or that others may talk behind our backs of course i should not worry about this because its ok in our culture but i still wanted to see what others thought thank you

    A LOT of cultures condone first cousin marriages. Don't listen to post hoc ad hoc nay sayers. I would study empirical research regarding genetic issues. Otherwise, love is always a good thing when exploitation isn't involved.

    Many think this is sick and twisted and that people that choose to do this are messed up so they say.. Well i married my first cousin. I didn't grow up w him and never knew him til i turned about 30yrs old. In the middle of this he was getting ready to divorce and so was I from previous marriages. He seen a attraction to me right away but didn't say anything about it for awhile then it came out. I felt it to we both thought we were nuts. So one day we sat and Googled it. Its more common then people wanna open their eyes to realize it to be. I learned so much reading about it. Many celebrities have married their first cousins.And much more u can educate yourself about you will feel lots better if u research it...People are gonna give u hell over it they did us. Ive lost friends and have had my name slaughtered all over facebook about it. Its been quit the rodeo i tell ya. But at the end of the day who do i have?? Him... So choose your life for you. You only live once. If its your first cousin of course i wouldn't recommend having children w him. First cousins carry 16% genes w each other and could possibly cause your child to have problems.     In america it's thought of as taboo. But if you two are blood related than you're more likely to have a child with a deformity or mental disability. If you 2 are related by marriage only, then fuck it love who you wanna love.
