Is it normal for me to have issues with girls because of my father?

When I was 5 the person I looked up to and trusted was my father and I thought he would never let me down. Well he did, he turned out to be a sociopath(he doesn't kill people) and I haven't seen him since I was 6. I now find it hard to have a relationship with a girl or even try to make a move. I just feel like that I will be rejected and that there is no point in trying. Im not trying to complain I'm just wondering if its Normal?

That's tough but don't give up. There will be times when a girl turns out be a total bitch, just like a guy can be a total ass. Try not be disheartened you will find a girl who is good for you eventually.

I'm a girl so I can't give you a apt answer all I can say is that being a girl a father plays an important role in molding a girls future relationship psychology.
I have a horrible relation with my father. We hate each other to the core and he's abusive and violent. Guess what !
I end up being in love with a jerk like my father!

It is completly normal not to love women. You loved your dad so much when you were young because deep down inside your body, you had a yerning for the male touch. Go with those feelings.

Don't give up hun. There will be a girl out there that will accept how you are, and not care.
I would suggest talking to someone, just to try and get help with it, because it seems like it's really bugging you.
