Is it normal for me to feel this pain?

Is it normal for me to have an intense pain in my anus area during my period? It only happens like every other month on the first day of my period. It's this very sharp pain in my butt and I can't sit down or move until it goes away. It usually lasts anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes. Is this normal, or should I be worried?

    Maybe you're cramping, need to go toilet or something? Have gas?
