I'm in that boat too. I'm 19, never even touched or kissed a girl. I've either got too much work to do, or i'm not interested. It is certainly normal, at least from my POV.

Shy guys are fine. However, when we can tell that you have no self-confidence, it's a total turn off. I mean, it irritates the hell out of me. Also, there are girls(myself included) that are offended that you may think that all we care about are looks. Personally, all that matters to me is whether I can have an intelligent conversation with the person and things like "he's good looking, isn't he? And that's why you wont date me" make me want to alsp the person and snap at them because they think that I'm that fickle and shallow.

So, in other words, just try to think more positively about yourself! Do you really want to be with a girl who doesn't care about your thoughts and is overly concerned about your looks (the answer is no). Who knows, maybe the new confidence will give you the courage to go up and start the conversation :)
