I had a crush on a gay guy for two years and it is really hard to get over the fact that he is gay and will never date me, about two years ago I finally had another crush but it turned out he is gay too, why am I attracted to gays? I am way too picky and want the perfect guy but my first crush is like the sweetest person ever and he is silly and teases me, I have like no hope in dating anyone

    For many young girls, gay guys are really safe; they won't pester girls about sex and are unlikely to be lewd with them.

    I've had this, some gay guys just are really cute. It also helps that they tend to make more effort with their appearance than the typical straight ones and don't try too hard with the cringeworthy 'macho act'. You're pretty normal, to me at least.

    I saw this study where they showed a control group of random people pictures of young males faces ages 18-30 some straight, some gay. Overall, women were able to pick out gay men at a glance much better than men. They actually did these gridded overlays of the facial structures and showed the commonalities that we all pick up on when we use our 'gaydar'. The slight up flex of the chin, tilt of the head or bend of the neck, the type of clothes or hair style. I agree that women go after gay guys because they feel safe with them, because it turns them on, because it's something they can't have. Every time I go to the gay bar, there's always a big group of tiara clad glitter shit straight women on a 'girls night out' being loud and obnoxious. At the gay bar because they don't want guys barking up their tree, then do their best to turn some poor guy straight lol.

    No it's normal, I mean gay guys tend to be a lot sweeter and don't always use love to get sex like most straights. Gay guys also are less violent and don't get into huge arguments and physical fights
