My wife and I have been married for 12 years. I have always used the pet name Ching Chong for her but someone recently told me they found it inappropriate. Is this normal?
Who cares if it sounds racist. It's something between the two of you and she's obviously not offended by it. Fuck what other people think and just be you. You will be happier.

I'm pretty sure if your wife found it inappropriate she would have said something by now, it's been 12 years.
Anyone else's opinion on it is completely irrelevant.
If she's okay with it, I guess it's alright. But others will find it innapropriate because it's typically used to make fun of Asians.
"Ching chong" is used to mock Chinese. Have you ever even been to [South] Korea?
It makes me wonder what kind of words or names they would use to mock Americans.
This post reminds me of a few times when I made Hispanic jokes with other Hispanics. The one friend who's not Hispanic would freak out, tell us we offended them, and tell us not to talk like that around them. They'd then proceed to pretend to be morally superior because they "stand up to racism and don't tolerate it." People like that are no fun to be around.

He wrote a few words about how things had gone downhill here yesterday but I don't see it now. Talked about trollers and so much fake stuff here so he quit.
What does that mean? Did the person get banned because I have a few threads where it says that for the member name.
Also if it is a banned member, does this site sometimes go through and "clean house" because I have a hard time imagining all the "old memory" accounts are all the same member unless they posted a ton.
