Is it normal for me not to care about anybody?

Today I had a fight with my co-worker, it started out when she called and ask me to pick up her shift, I told her no bc I have a date tonight and I need a day off. She told me that she really need off and could not find anyone else to pick up and she said that it really important because it a family gathering that her little brother had been planning since he was 8 and said that i never was a good friend to her and said that I would choose a girl over a friend. She also said that i don't care about her situation and that i never been there when she need my help, so she doesn't want to ever be my friend again. To me all I could think of is that she never did anything for me and why should I do this for her, its my day off and I want to relax before I have to go back to work for the week. Is that wrong of me?

    oh come on, u shudve been nice 2 her and helped her in her time of need, even if she's never done nething gud 2 u. how wud u feel in her position? u need feelings m8.

    i think you are right.

    wtf is a family gathering hosted by a person who planned it since he was 8? sounds like bull shit to me.

    i could understand if it was a real issue, such as a funeral, surgery, etc., but her reason for wanting the day off is lame. and her expectation of you crosses over the line of friendship.

    no i dont think so. they should of planned it on HER DAY OFF!!! PEOPLE ALWAYS NEED FAVORS BUT ARE NEVER THERE WHEN YOU NEED HELP!

    I don't hate gay people. I do believe it's not the way God intended, but I subscribe to Jesus' teaching of hating the sin, but loving the sinner.
