Is it normal for me and my best friend to act like this

first, I'm a girl,heterosexual, with a boy friend,we're both very keen on eachother.
my best friend is girl, we met in school 2 years ago and have been best friends ever since,we often give eachother advice on our boyfriends, we are in a band together and go out together at least once a week.
we often go out with other friends usualy other members of the band. but when we meet we always hug (she almost jumped into my arms once),and we often hold hands. when her ex (boy) left her she was realy sad because they had been dating for a year. she called me and I came to her house to comfort her. we spent about an two hours talking about it while hugging, and kissing eachother on the cheek.
this morning i was on the phone with her and before we hang up we were saing "I love you more" "no, I love you more" kinda thing, then we where like "haha we sound like to lesbows" and joked about it.( we speak to each other in italian, so we used the word "ti voglio bene" wich is what friends and famaly use, not "amore" which is what lovers use, just to be clear).
other band members ( all guys) think it's it's funny and cute so does my boy friend think so. one of them is bi. but he said that we probably aren't, and that we're just very close more like sisters.
as far as I've noticed I'm not atracted to her or any other girls.
is our relationship normal??

    Well your friend could be bi sexual & secretly have a thing for you or your just close like sisters

    Sounds like you are just as normal as any other set of girl friends. Hell I hug, and tell my best friends that I love them sometimes!

    I did learn something from this though, I didn't know that Italians had more than one way to express love, depending on the situation.

    Yes very normal for two girls to say "I love you' to each other.
    Saying it in another language just makes it more cute, I suppose.

    Hugging and kissing > normal

    This is what most girl friends do.
    You should also arrange a sleepover where you can sleep together and giggle all night long > All normal.

    Guys don't do this (unless they are gay) NOT because we are too shy to or don't want to express our emotions together. But because it would be truly vulgar for us.
