I have a pretty small group of friends (around 7-10 good friends), however, most of them know so many more and just hang out in large groups. Im not jealous at all just wondering if its normal that I personally would much rather have a small group of friends that i can hang out with. Thanks for your replies.
Yeah, im the same. i hang out with the same 5 or 6 people all the time. I prefer to have a small group of friends because i know them really well and know i can trust them ect. Id rather have a few close friends than a lot of fake friends. Perfectly normal :)
In a nutshell it's quality over quantity.
Some people might have large groups of friends but... how well do they really know the others in the group? They may be associating for reasons other than friendship, such as attempting to gain status or popularity, etc... instead of being there for friendship.
With a smaller group of friends, you are dealing with people who really know you for who you are. They are choosing to spend time with you, not for selfish gain, but because they actually like you.
Some people go for depth in friendships. (Closer, more intimate) and others go for breadth, (Lots of friends, but more superfical) Seems like you are one of the former.
yea and in every group of friends there is one person there that no body fucking likes lol you just keep him there to hate there guts lol that is what is like in my group of friends and that person is michael nobody even looks at him when we are in the group lol
