I met this guy online who I've been messaging since June. He always replied to everyone of my messages but yesterday I asked if he'd like to chat over the phone and he never replied. Now im worried I scared him off. I told him it was cool if he didnt want to though so Im just really confused. It shows hes been online so Im very frustrated that hes now ignoring me and I dont know what else to do. We already planned on meeting up soon so what gives? BTW Im 20 and this guy is 22. He's the only guy Im willing to meet up with off this site and now im worried I wasted my time on this site for nothing. Please any advice! Should I send him another message asking him if he still wants to meet up? Thanks!

    He could have lied about many things and that could be a reason why ignoring you. Maybe he didn't want to take things further than they were? Maybe he's scared of talking to you. Maybe ignoring you and not responding to you is his ''mature way'' of ending things. It could be anything. Hopefully he'll be honest with you and not lead you on any more than he has if he is leading you on.

    This is what happens when you try to start a relationship over the internet. You were probably just someone to waste his time on messaging to, and he has no real interest. Live and learn.

    I agree with momonator. He probably led you on and now that it's time to meet he realizes he can't because of the lies. Don't message him anymore. If he does message you great but maybe you should explore the site and find someone else.
