Is it normal for her to do this?

Okay, I'm just going to start off by saying that I wrote this when I was really pissed off.
Even after all of this, I still love her. She was the best most caring girlfriend I've ever had.
Please spare the hate comments.

Now, back to your regular scheduled programing.

I started going out with, let's call her, Saria, a girl that lives in California (I live in New York), in January.
After a couple months of us going out, doing the normal long-distance relationship things, she ended up cheating on me.
So, we get back together.. and.. she cheats again.
Eventually, we got back together again, and then I just got fed up during an argument and left her, realizing it was a mistake a day later when I realized that I really do care for her, and love her.

That was a couple months ago.

Now, we just had this moment of "i luv u" "i luv u 2" kind of thing like, 3 days ago, and within that time, SHE ENDED UP GETTING A BOYFRIEND. After we already said "oh if u promise 2 nvr leve me we can go bck out", "i promis", she ended up getting a boyfriend anyway.
She told me, maybe, 20 mins ago. She was upset and sorry, blah blah blah, but I am severely hurt, and pissed off at this. So you know what I did? I did the equivalent of saying Fuck you. I sent: "I don't know why I thought it would be different this time. It never is."
I'm very proud of that, that's TV show material. But still. What the fuck. Am I the only one who thinks that this is fucked up? Telling someone you love them and immediately without any hesitation getting a boyfriend?

Have you even met this girl in person?
It's not cheating if you've never even met! It's nothing more than a pen pal sort of relationship and you are investing way too much of yourself into this really weird relationship.
You can't be sure that she did even "cheat" on you; it may all be in her head or some kind of strange power trip; you may be one of many online "relationships" she is having.
I wouldn't take it seriously enough to even post on here.

We've skyped. I was planning on seeing her this summer, but that's gone now.

What is it with people on this site with long distance relationships and meeting people online for gods sake?! Go out, meet girls who live in the same city. Much much more easier and sensible.
Anyway, 'I'm very proud of that, that's TV show material'. Ohh I love coming out with dramatic come backs.

What, because I proclaiming the truth that 90% of men on here couldn't score in a brothel?
We all know the truth, let's face it. I don't care if you insult me when you don't even know me and never will do (dumb thing to do) but at least I'm speaking the truth.

        • A brummie then? With a pikey boyfriend. The accent of a broodish shrew.

I have to say you're right. It's much easier. However, I can't help that I live in New York and she lives in California.
I too love coming up with dramatic come backs, as you can probably tell. xD

It sounds like she's just a normal healthy 13 year girl. If you want a serious grown up relationship then date (not online) a woman closer to your own age.

Telling someone you love them then quickly after hooking up with someone else is fucked up, yes. HOWEVER, with online "relationships" this is null and void. I can understand having online only friends, sure; you can discuss common interests just like with friends irl. But you cannot have a relationship online with someone you don't even know irl. It's not real. There is no actual romance. Go out and find a real girlfriend so you can figure out what real love feels like. If you can't hold and kiss, it's platonic friendship at best, nothing more.

I skyped her every day, texted her, everything. There was a lot of romance. You've got to play the hand you're dealt.
