    It SHOULD be normal for guys to own sex toys, at least as normal as it is for girls to do so, but in my experience there's a lot more social stigma about men owning 'items for self-pleasure' than women. Men are more likely to be painted as perverts or desperate singletons, whereas women more likely to be painted as having a 'healthy interest in sex'.
