I see her once a week for swim training for several months, I also have her facebook as frds but its still pretty private no relationship status and no couple photos. I got to know her more and she laughs and we have fun talking about work and make fun of stuff during our training. So I wanted to ask her out, but she stopped coming a few weeks ago so I had to fb and ask her. She started using lots of emoticons, which was different from when I first msged her months ago before knowing her more. When I asked her for #, she said she was dating someone right now, sorry.

I ask because I had 2 girls give them out before despite in a relationship. 1 girl was purely platonic, i liked her but she didnt like me but we had a common interest. girl 2 had bad relationship problems and liked me more than current abusive bf, so my perception is somewhat distorted. Thank you!

    Normal. I think she is being respectful in her relationship. I would not be happy if my bf gave out his number and vice versa.

    I have refused to give my number to random guys who asked since I don't want to give of the impression that I'm interested ( I have a BF) But if it's someone that I say ...meet at a party that strikes me as someone who I could think of as friend, I'd give it after making sure that he knew I was taken and faithful.

      Just keep contact, don't expect her to contact you. Even if she probaly wants to, she won't cuz she'll be afraid that you'll think she is one of those girls who cheat and shit.

      So you just keep on contacting her, don't be pushy, tho.

      And who knows, maybe someday..
