Is it normal for father to brush 5 year old daughter naked

I have a serious Question guys and could use your insight. I walked in on my boyfriend brushing his 5year old daughters hair after she got out of the bath. She was dried off but no towel wrapped around her no clothes just completely naked. This is not the only bizarre incident that has freaked me out, plus I have a horrible gut feeling that something is wrong but then again He is a single father so maybe he just has a close relationship with her.

    Brushing of the hair does not suggest molestation; the fact that he didn't bother to dress her beforehand seems to be of little importance.

    But please, fill us in on these other "incidents" that you mentioned.

      Well she will NOT leave us alone for longer than 5 minutes if we were in the room together and close the door she will bang on the door until she comes in.. She will say she needs something even though she doesn't. She will leave again and will come back 2 minutes later to the point we don't even try. Even if she is watching a movie it doesn't matter.. She also has straddled him face to face while sitting on his lap, jumped onto his chest while laying down and kissed him on the lips for extended period of time. These kinda things have stopped but now it seems she wants to know when I'm leaving so she can be with her dad alone.

        She's a young child who probably feels threatened by dad's new relationship. It will pass if you're sensitive to her needs.

        Those are normal attitudes for a girl her age. It's part of her psychosexual development to vie for her dad's attention. If she has no boundaries they need to be set right away; not because you think there's something wrong with it, but because that's pretty much how it works.

    Who cares that she was naked she is 5 years old! No one cares about that stuff when your that young! He was brushing her hair you should look at that as a good thing!

      Wouldn't you get her dressed first instead of brushing her hair while she is naked? Even if a mother where to brush her daughters hair while Naked .. That's just strange.

    Wow, I don't even want to for real for real do that 15 year old Russian figure skater anymore, and she would've been my dream girl @ 14. It must be weird to hug children again (or probably you just have to make them and watch them grow to feel the paternal instinct) If this is not on the up and up then he really is a creep for wanting a 5yr old when he has a woman available.

    Not sure without more info.
    Put up a survalance camera.

    The way I use my cameras is buy a subwoofer speaker at goodwill. Take out the insides and put the cover back on and hook it up to a radio or tv. It will just look like a speaker hooked up but with a camera instead. Put other random junk around too so the speaker isn't the only new item because if it were it may be more suspicious. Pretend you got a bunch of crap at a garage sale for free and put the items around the room with a camera only in one.

    Well, my dad never did that to me ( sure, he brushed my hair before, but never while I was naked, even at such a young age.)

    I find it a bit odd, but I don't know the full story,
    so I can't be sure if this should be a concern or not.
