Is it normal for familys to want to know about your job?
Alright, I'm disabled and in a vocational outreach program to try to work somewhere to try to get gainful employment. But you know whenever I have these family get togethers they want to know everything about what I'm doing. They know I'm disabled and some have thoughts of me being a bum and others don't. Mostly the older, older males in my family. But I'm in transition and when I start telling them about what I have been doing in this program they look at me with disappointment or turn the other way and head out the door. And all I feel like doing is either crying and telling to F*ck themselves or just avoiding them totally. But you know I love my grandmother. I mean the point should be is that at least I don't want to suck off the government anymore right? Is this normal or do I just have a bunch of asses for family?
