Is it normal for couples to say i love you within the first few weeks?

I don't have a lot of dating experience but 2 of the 3 people I've dated said "I love you" within the first 2 weeks. Personally I think it takes longer to fall in love than that so I feel quite awkward when it happens.

It's normal, but it doesn't mean it's true. A lot of people just don't know how to distinguish love from lust, a crush, or just attraction.

That's another thing you've beaten me to. That's exactly what I was going to say (:

It's 2012. That word has lost ALL meaning at this point.

    It's unfortunate, but normal.

Say it when you and your partner are comfortable with it. If you're not comfortable with it yet, say so.

      LOL
      "I love you :) <3"
      "NO!"

Hahaha. It's always awkward, but I feel like it's sometimes better to talk these things out than to feel pushed into stuff. It's sort of a call everybody has to make personally though.
