Is it normal for comments to randomly dissapear on this site?

I've noticed that this has happened a few times to a few people. Is there rational to it, or is it a glitch? Upon further investigation there was nothing inapropriate within the comment itself.... .just curious.

    Members have the right to delete their own comments, which they do occasionally. Also, story/poll authors have the right to hide comments that they don't like for whatever reason, they also do this occasionally. Lastly, comments can get reported and reviewed by our team which might choose to remove them, but this happens least often of all of these.

    That's happened with me a few times. My comments will randomly disappear. I don't know why the management or story authors would delete them, so maybe it's a glitch. I guess you can always write to the mods and ask.

      yeah my comment that was deleted did not fall under any of the categories the management had noted above - the reason for posting this was to see if anyone had suspected any gliches - so yeah Im not sure :)

    Yeah, I got use to my wisdom being deleted from the comment section many a times. It happens.

      I believe so. I think this site isn't as large and popular as it could be given the frequency at which i see the same posts/users pop up again. I'm pretty sure mine has been seen a lot too. I think FB really sucked the whole internet dry lol.
