Is it normal for bugs to attack my ears?
When outside, trying to sleep, or anywhere else, bugs seem to only go for my ears (specifically left) and avoid other places. Leave a comment if you know why.

Biting insects are capable of "seeing" heat by use of their infrared vision and that's how they home in on their next snack.
The only possibility that occurs to me is that you have a healthy blood-flow to your ears but the rest of your skin is cooler, and for some reason your left ear is even warmer that your right.
Of course, we're all liable to fall into the trap of confirmation bias. It's possible you believe your left ear appears particularly tasty to the bugs because you once had that idea for some reason, and now you're subconsciously disregarding all the times bugs go for your right ear.
Cognitive bias is why he should test the heat hypothesis. Clean the left ear with hand sanitizer which will dissolve wax and fat soluble fragrances, then ice it; leave the right ear as is for a control group. If the bugs go to the right ear, run two separate experiments; one with ice, and another one with the hand sanitizer.
I wasn't saying they don't go for my right ear. My friends also tell me that my hands are always cold anyways. You are probably right in the part that my ears are warm. Thanks!
Well, to be honest most insects are fucking assholes.
Like there isn't enough place on this planet to not go inside our ears. SMH.
Maybe you should stop smearing honey all over your big succulent juicy ears.
You only hear them attacking you when they fly near your ears. Ever thought of that?
Are you wearing perfume? Perhaps you're wearing a perfume that smells tasty to bugs?
