Is it normal for blood to rise upwards while being upright yourself?
I have spoken to my doctor and he doesn't have an opinion about it or he just doesn't know.
I don't have normal monthlies and he again doesn't seem bothered as it is depressing me. Apparently women lose a teaspoon of blood during their period, I lose a lot more, but apart from that, is the above question normal, I have to wear 2 pads one in the normal place and one up the back or I have to wear Tena Pants.

Call me an idiot but I don't really understand what you are asking. Simplify please for the idiots among us.

Right, I mean outside the body and I'm not a young woman, I am in my forties.

By "upwards" do you mean toward the back of your undies? If so, it sounds like you have a heavy and irregular flow. This is pretty typical for young women.

Your question is quite confusing. It could be high blood pressure or something worse! You need to get a better doctor or this one to order a blood test ASAP!!!
