Is it normal for bleeding to occur during sex?

My boyfriend has a rather large penis and sometimes when we have sex, I start bleeding. I lost my virginity over 2 years ago so I know that it does not have anything to do with that. It makes me worried because I am very uncomfortable talking to my gynecologist about it and I would like some feedback to try to understand what is going on.

    I would tell the Gynocolegest and maybe get checked does not sound normal , but I am not the best person to take this from .
