I hear about Asian guys wishing they could date white women, but really, how many really feel this way? Are all or most Asian guys really attracted to white girls? Would love some feedback from all of you Asian men out there too! Thanks!
Could you point out where exactly you heard these things? I'm a white girl who has always wanted to date an Asian man, but I always hear that it's a lot more uncommon than the white guy/Asian girl pairing.
im not asian but i think its normal. White girls r fine. Well all races have attractive females..
Wow! Thanks chinqhouse... Wish I could date you! I would do all these things (apart from the whoring ..lol). I am never really all that clear about what yellow fever is though. I completely adore Asian men to the exclusion of all other races, and I worry sometimes that I could come across as being obsessed - but it is not like a K-pop obsession, or a passing phase (I have felt like this for two years). I really like the individual person behind that adorable face (see!! Obsessed!!..lol). I am curious - did your ex go off with another Asian dude, or a white dude? Good luck to you.. You will meet some intelligent white girl who is just like me..:)
i'm an asian male myself who reeeeeally likes white women. i even posted something about the same topic myself but the other way around! haha! i've dated only one caucasian woman in my life and she wasn't a blonde, she was a brunette. i don't speak for all asians but i'm pretty sure it's just a preference of certain people.
if you'd like some pointers, i could give you some that really caught my attention about my ex who was caucasian. i guess i could list some stuff here:
1. don't be one of those chicks who has "yellow fever." not all asians are like the pop stars you see on teh gay youtubes. don't flash us peace signs and what not (though i myself do enjoy stereotypical jokes--once in a while).
2. be interested in their language & culture. you can't expect someone of different ethnic background to be completely white like you (unless they're an adopted kid... haha noobs). if you show interest in wanting to learn their language (from them specifically), then OMG YOU'RE IN.
3. if you show a lot of the same interests in food, that's a homerun!! we don't expect you to like everything but you had better at least try something ONCE!!!! if you spit it out that's okay. but please, try it.
4. MOST IMPORTANT PART IS RIGHT HURRR!!! be prepared to meet and and greet the parents. asian parents are really strict in who their children date, ESPECIALLY THEIR SONS. when you do meet teh folks, better have a lot to say. they like people who talk and are WELL MANNERED. should bring cookies or something when you get to their house. food is a big part of asian culture. whether or not they like you, they'll ask you to stay for a meal (very customary in asian cultures when you're a guest). if you are asked to stay for a meal, it's more polite to say no than it is to say "okay let's eat then!" DON'T FORGET TO DO THE DISHES WITH MAMA!!!!! NEVER FORGEEEEET!!!!!
basicallly a lot of the stuff i mentioned is pretty much the same for anyone, really. in the end, just show us that you're interested and we'll show you we're interested. if you think we don't want to talk to you, it's most likely cause we're not gay and out and open about our feelings. happy hunting! To answer your question, it is normal because my cousin had wanted to date a white women and maybe get married to one (not because he wants to come to the USA, since he's a citizen).
I don't see why. It seems to be that white men prefer asians because they think they are hotter, so i don't see why an asian would like white women. I have heard though that a lot of asian men love tall, blond hair, blue eyed women because they are so different from their women.
