Is it normal for an under-graduate it student to work as a waiter ?

So, i am from india i am 19 years old (M) i have work experience as a CCO for 2 months and now i am going to try a waiter job.
The problem is my Ego is Big and it makes me Feel bad that i am going to do a waiter job ( i am not saying waiters are bad or they are low but i never thought i will have to do it) The owner is giving me 100rs per hour (1.50 Usd) I ddnt want any job till i graduate but things are bad and my dad is kinda angry on me for not earning money while he fucked up my 2nd year studies and i guess i am gonna pass but not gonna be the techy expert cuz of the toll i took from the past job (on my clg attandance) I just wanna ask what should i do My dad is an asshole when it comes to money.

Welcome to the real world: it's normal for students and others to work at whatever job they can get and increasingly for whatever shit wages they can get.

Now work at your studies so you can get a well paid job later and in the meantime, mysistershadow's advice is spot on

Theres no shame in being a waiter and its actually harder than it looks to the average restaurant diner. It will teach you skills about how to multitask efficiently and how to deal with different personality types that you encounter. But most of all it will give you a appreciation for customer service and how hard those doing that kind of job work and the things they have to put up with. I think it could be a real growth experience for you.
