Is it normal for an older to person to want to be friends with me?

I'm 18 years old, and this guy I know has reached out to me. He's at least 30 or older, and has a wife that I've never met. He's really nice, and I agreed to meet him for coffee as friends. Is there some other motive that I'm too blind to see or is this just kindness?

Suggest he bring his wife along so you can meet her: bet he'll run a mile.

And 30 years old doesnt sound bad. If he was like 50 or 60, then it might be suspicious.

But once again, you can be friends with anyone :)

It's not the age that makes it sound bad but the fact that he's a married man

True but as long as it's just friends, then theres nothing wrong with it

Of course he is trying to get with you, you never met his wife.....what guy wouldn't love to hit a nice young thing,a married person can't have opposite sex friends and I believe you are turned on that an older married man is into you as well,so if anything happens between you two don't think anything is going to happen than just sex even if he says he will he won't want more than sex

Depends. could be just friendly, or could be more.

Who knows. But being friends is perfectly fine.
